Long Beach RRM is commonly referred to as Long Beach Residential Reentry Management. The Long Beach Residential Reentry Management is one out of twenty-five residential reentry management offices throughout the United States. Long Beach Residential Reentry Management is in San Pedro, CA.

Each inmate can be placed in a few housing locations. You will have to get in contact with the RRM Supervisor of the inmate to get information on where you can send money.
While inmates are serving their time in the Long Beach Residential Reentry Management, they can have visitors. Visitors cannot be felons. Visitors must fill out the form that can be found on the Federal Bureau of Prisons official website. This form can take up to a month to process and for you to hear back. Once approved you can go down to the facility to visit during select hours. You will need to leave all items in your vehicle. The only items that can be brought into the visitation area is your car key and either your driver’s license or your state identification card.

With the RRM Long Beach a reentry and treatment facility, it has no security level. The only asked of the individuals here is their compliance with the rules.

The Inmate Transition Branch provides more help for pre-released employment assistance. They hold mock job jails to allow individuals to brush up and practice their interview skills, along with also allowing the community recruiters to know what the inmates are bringing into the workforce.
Qualified offender will be able to apply to companies that have job opens. The Inmate Transition Branch will also help with the resume, certificates of completion, earning diploma, and other necessary documents needed for a successful job search and interview process.
The RRM Long Beach is also considered a halfway house. This is for offenders nearing the final few months of their sentence.
All offenders must comply to all rules of the house. They are also required to take random drug and alcohol testing.
The facility is very much like jail in its structured environment. Inmates are also supervised. They have many programs to help inmates transition easier into society.
The food here is a lot better too.
Inmates can leave the facility to work, go shopping, and for religious services. Some inmates are even granted house arrest, depending on how they behave in the facility.
