Inmate Life

The RRM Long Beach is also considered a halfway house. This is for offenders nearing the final few months of their sentence.

All offenders must comply to all rules of the house. They are also required to take random drug and alcohol testing.

The facility is very much like jail in its structured environment. Inmates are also supervised. They have many programs to help inmates transition easier into society.

The food here is a lot better too.

Inmates can leave the facility to work, go shopping, and for religious services. Some inmates are even granted house arrest, depending on how they behave in the facility.
