The Delaware Department of Corrections is the agency responsible for keeping records on all inmates serving time in Delaware state prisons. The department of corrections database currently has records on 6,500 to 7,000 inmates within our state prisons, alongside another 17,000 inmates doing probation within the state.
The Delaware Department of Correction uses VINELink inmate search Delaware to locate any offenders in the state of Delaware. VINELink is the National Victim Notification Network system. You can sign up for VINELink and get alerts 24 hours a day if the status on the inmate changes; whether they are getting transferred or released.
Unlike the Delaware Department of Corrections, city and county jails keep their databases separate from the state. If you are looking for an inmate in one of them, you will need to refer to the appropriate website.
