RRM Orlando is commonly referred to as the Orlando Residential Reentry Office. The Orlando Residential Reentry Office is operated and managed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The facility also serves the United States Marshals Service, federal courts, local corrections, and state corrections.
The mission of the Orlando Residential Reentry Management is to rehabilitate inmates enough for them to transition into society effortlessly.

A big part of an inmate’s rehabilitation path is having a support system. The Orlando Residential Reentry Management encourages the inmate’s family and friends to write them letters.
Friends and family can even send an inmate newspapers, magazines, and books too. The only condition on an inmate receiving these items is that they will need to be sent directly to the facility from the publisher. These items cannot be sent from home. All incoming books are required to be paperback. Hardcover books will be discarded.

Each inmate can be placed in a few housing locations. You will have to get in contact with the RRM Supervisor of the inmate to get information on where you can send money.

Visitors will need to fill out the visitor form that can be found on the Federal Bureau of Prisons official website. After you submit the form it takes about 4 weeks to process. Once approved, you will be able to visit an inmate during visiting hours.
Visitors cannot be felons. Visitors will need to present their driver’s license or their state identification card to be permitted into the visitation area. Visitors under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by their legal guardian. They will not be able to visit an inmate alone.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.

Inmates in the Orlando Residential Reentry Management are housed in dormitory. All inmates should expect that they will be sharing their personal space with at least of their fellow inmates. Housing assignments are randomized. The prison staff will put you where there is an empty bed. You will not be able to have any say in where you are placed.
All inmates that are well enough to work when at the Orlando Residential Reentry Management will be required to have a work assignment. Work assignments are not always in the facility. There are plenty work assignments that allow inmates to work in the community. Work assignments will allow inmates to have on the job training skills to help them land a job when they are released from the Orlando Residential Reentry Management.
Orlando Residential Reentry Management does not only require their inmates to work. They also offer inmates educational courses, drug education, and release preparation. All of the courses the facility offers will help inmates in their transition into the community. They will not only have the education it takes to land a job, but they will have the skillset and coping skills that goes along with the troubles that they will face in the community.
