Security Level at Residential Reentry Management

With the Southeast Regional Office a reentry and treatment facility, it has no security level. The only asked of the individuals here is their compliance with the rules.

What Services do Residential Reentry Management Offer?

The Southeast Regional Office is the last stop for offenders before they get fully released into society.

The facility partners with state and local government to provide many services for the offenders.

Some of the services offered are:

  • Education
  • Substance abuse treatment
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Life-skills training
  • Financial management assistance
  • Employment counseling
  • Job placement

All these services offered are to prepare individuals for life outside of bars.

Inmate Transition Branch

The Inmate Transition Branch provides more help for pre-released employment assistance. They hold mock job jails to allow individuals to brush up and practice their interview skills, along with also allowing the community recruiters to know what the inmates are bringing into the workforce.

Qualified offender will be able to apply to companies that have job opens. The Inmate Transition Branch will also help with the resume, certificates of completion, earning diploma, and other necessary documents needed for a successful job search and interview process.

Inmate Life

The Southeast Regional Office is also considered a halfway house. This is for offenders nearing the final few months of their sentence.

All offenders must comply to all rules of the house. They are also required to take random drug and alcohol testing.

The facility is very much like jail in its structured environment. Inmates are also supervised. They have many programs to help inmates transition easier into society.

The food here is a lot better too.

Inmates can leave the facility to work, go shopping, and for religious services. Some inmates are even granted house arrest, depending on how they behave in the facility.
