The Cook County Sheriff Jail (CCDOC) – D.O.C. Division VI provides three ways that family and friends can send money to an inmate. Using any of the three options below will instantly put money into an inmate’s account.

They can be mistaken for an ATM machine, but this machine does not give out money, it takes it instead and puts it directly into the inmate’s commissary account. Inmates can receive visitors. The visitation schedule goes by the inmates last name.

Before you can visit, you will need to make sure you brought your government ID. You will have to pass a metal detector too.
Visitors must adhere to the jails dress code. You cannot wear the following:
Visitors will not be able to bring anything into the visitation area. You will need to store all your personal belongings in your automobile before entering the facility.
If you fail to adhere to the rules, you will be denied visitation rights, right on the spot.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
