To fund an inmate’s account, the Sabine Parish Detention Center takes money orders. When making the money order, you will need to make sure it has their first and last name, housing assignment and docket number. You bring money orders to the visitation center 7 days a week.

You can deposit money into the account by calling 318-256-0006. There is a fee that goes along with this service.

In order to visit an inmate, you must schedule an appointment. All visitation appointments are 40 minutes long.
There is a three-person max for visitation. This means either 1 adult and 2 children, 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child.
Minors must be accompanied by their legal guardian. All adults must have a government ID handy in order to get into the visitation area.
Also, keep in mind that there is a dress code for the Sabine Parish Detention Center that you will need to adhere to.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
