Inmates in Itawamba County Jail can call home to family and friends. While inmates are in the intake section, they can make free calls home. Once they get back to general population, calls do cost money. Local calls cost $2.25. Long distance calls cost $4.99 and $0.89 a minute.
Inmates will need to have a call list. Inmates can only have 20 numbers on a call list at a time. Once 20 numbers are on the list, changes will not be made for 6 weeks minimum.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
