Salem County Correctional Facility main mission to ensure there is a safe and secure environment for both their inmates and their staff members.
The Salem County Correctional Facility has their roster available to the public to search. You can search the jail database by the inmates first and last name, booking number, or by doing an AKA search.
You can also search for inmates currently sitting in Salem County Correctional Facility or released inmates.
The inmate jail inquiry consists of their personal identifying information, mugshot, what agency arrested them, and what charges they are or have been charged with.
The Salem County Correctional Facility has a contract with Smart Jail Mail. Smart Jail Mail uses kiosks that are in the housing units for inmates to use. This method is essentially emailing their loved ones. This system was put into place to allow the Salem County Correctional Facility to ensure the safety of inmates, staff, and their families.
Inmates are no longer allowed to use pen and paper to write out their letters. All letters will now have to go through Smart Jail Mail.
However, if you do not have access to a computer and the only way you can communicate with an inmate is through the postal mail, you can send them mail at the following address:
INMATE NAME-ID NUMBER
125 Cemetery Road, Woodstown, NJ, 08098
Keep in mind, that this letter will go through the kiosk for them to view. They will not actually get your letter with your handwriting. Make sure you put your return address on the envelope along with the inmate’s name and their ID number to ensure it will get sent to the correct inmate.
The Salem County Correctional Facility offers family and friends four different ways they can fund their inmates accounts.
