The New Mexico Men’s Recovery Academy (NMMRA) does not have a security level. It thrives on voluntary commitment. The facility is known as a residential reentry center, which is like a halfway house.
It is home to inmates who are almost done with their stint in jail. Usually, they have another 3 to about 12 months left of their sentence to complete, and they can come here if they are a low-security risk.
The easiest way to see if someone is currently at the New Mexico Men’s Recovery Academy (NMMRA) is to give them a call at 505-866-0590. This will be the quickest way since they currently do not have a database of inmates open to the public.
You will want to get in contact with the inmate’s case manager before you send a package or letter to ensure they can, in fact, accept incoming mail. You can reach them at 505-866-0590.
If your inmate is currently working, they will not need you to send money. But the best thing you can do is call 505-866-0590 for the latest information on where to send money to.
