This method is essentially emailing their loved ones. This system was put into place to allow the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center (UCLEC) to ensure the safety of inmates, staff, and their families.

Inmates are no longer allowed to use pen and paper to write out their letters. All letters will now have to go through Smart Jail Mail.
