Writing materials can be purchased from the commissary. Inmates cannot communicate with other inmates in any other Duplin County facilities.

In-Person

You can put money in your inmate’s accounts in person. You can deposit cash into the kiosks available in the video visitation center and the main jail lobby in Duplin County Detention Center. The video visitation center is open from 8:30am to 8:30 pm. The main jail lobby is open from 7am to 11pm.

Online

You can fund your inmates account in Duplin County Detention Center online. You will have to create a TouchPay account. There is a fee that incurred with using this service.

Visitation

Visitation must be scheduled through the Duplin County Detention Center’s website. Visitation can be scheduled no more than 7 days ahead of time. Visits that are canceled with less than 24 hours to the appointment will still count as a visit.

Both inmates and visitors are required to adhere to all visitation rules. If rules are broken, that could lead to termination of the visit or loss of visitation privileges.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
