In-Person

You can put money in your inmate’s accounts in person. You can deposit cash into the kiosks available in the video visitation center and the main jail lobby in Durham County Detention Facility. The video visitation center is open from 8:30am to 8:30 pm. The main jail lobby is open from 7am to 11pm.

Online

Visitation

Visitation must be scheduled through the Durham County Detention Facility’s website. Visitation can be scheduled no more than 7 days ahead of time. Visits that are canceled with less than 24 hours to the appointment will still count as a visit.

Both inmates and visitors are required to adhere to all visitation rules. If rules are broken, that could lead to termination of the visit or loss of visitation privileges.
