Visitation is a privilege in Griggs County Jail. Visitation can be provoked without any warning. Visitors must have their government ID on them to be permitted into the visiting area. Inmates allowed to have 2 adults and 2 children visiting at a time. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors must adhere to jails dress code.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
