Keep in mind that all incoming mail will be opened to make sure there is no contraband. Inmates can send as many letters to family and friends as they want. It is on their own dime. You may send newspapers, paperback books, magazines, and other educational materials. However, the only condition is it must be sent directly from the bookstore or the publisher. Also, keep in mind that inmates can only have 5 reading materials only.

Visitation

Inmates can have 2 visits per week. The visit may only consist of 2 adults and one child or one adult and two children. Keep in mind that children are only permitted to visit inmates on federal holidays and weekends.

All visits are subject to being recorded and monitored. Children must be behaved, or you will be asked to leave.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
