The Washington County Jail is a historic building in Marietta, Ohio. The purpose behind the building was to serve as the county jail.
The new Washington County Jail was built from load-bearing stone. Majority of the building consists of darker shades with lighter shades of trim.

The Washington County Jail supplies two ways you can put money into an inmate’s account.
You will need to go to JailATM.com. You will need to create an account, if you do not have one or you will need to be able to deposit funds into an inmate’s account. All major credit cards are accepted.
In the lobby of the Washington County Jail, you will find kiosks. These kiosks are where you can deposit funds into an inmate’s account. You can deposit funds by a major credit card or cash.
In order to visit an inmate, you will need to schedule a visitation appointment online. If you cannot get to a computer, you can use the kiosk located in the Washington County Jail.
Visitation appointments need to be scheduled 2 days in advance, but no more than 9 days in advance.
There is a limit to how many people can visit an inmate. Only two adults and two children can visit an inmate per visitation appointment. Everyone in the party must be listed with their information. All adults in the party must also have their government ID ready too.
You can visit as often as there are appointments in the online schedule system.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
