Yes! Inmates can receive letters in the mail. To send a letter to an inmate at the Northeast Ohio Community Alternative Program (NEOCAP) you will need to address the envelope like this:

Inmates can receive photos. However, there is a limit of 25 photos per an inmate. Photos cannot be of themselves, pornographic, or polaroid. Keep in mind that photos can be 8×10” or smaller.

As for packages, all packages need to be authorized prior to sending anything. Unless it is for medical reasons.

Sending money to inmates is simple. There are a few different ways you can send an inmate money without going through much of a hassle.

Telephone

To send money using the telephone option, you will need to call 330-675-2669. There is a fee for all transactions.

Mail

Download and print out this form and follow the instructions on it.

Online

You will need to head on over to AccessCorrections.com. Before you can do anything, you will need to make an account. Any transaction completed online will incur a fee of $6.95.

Kiosks

The kiosks are open during the prisons regular business hours. These kiosks accept debit cards, credit cards, and cash. There is a $3.50 fee for cash transaction. There is also a $3.95 fee for debit and credit card transactions.

Visitation

Before you can visit an inmate, you will need to download and print this following form. You will then need to send it off to the following address:

If you can pass the background check, you should be approved. This entire process can take 3 to 6 weeks to fully complete. You will need to keep in touch with the inmate to find out your visitation status.

Minors can visit; however, they need to be with their legal guardians. Depending on what building the inmate is in will decipher when visitation is held. The current lists can be found here.

You can visit 3 times per the four-day visiting block. The visits can last a maximum of 2 hours.

Holiday

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
