Sending Money

Money can be sent to the Anderson County Juvenile Detention Center for inmates to use for the commissary. However, when sending money to the Anderson County Juvenile Detention Center, you will need to use the United States Postal Service, and you can only use Postal Prepaid Money Orders, regular money orders, or government checks. However, cash, payroll checks, credit card numbers, and personal checks are not permitted.

Inmates can receive visitors while at the Anderson County Juvenile Detention Center. Visitors for inmates are a privilege. This privilege can and will be taken away without notice.

Visitors must make an appointment before visiting. You can schedule a visit by calling 903-731-7201. The line is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM or until either appointment are filled.

How Often Can I Visit?
