Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive mail while they are at the Bee County Sheriff’s Jail. All mail will be delivered to the inmates Monday through Friday. There is no weekend delivery. Mail will not be delivered to inmates that cannot show their jail identification armband.

All regular mail will be opened before being given to inmates to remove money and any other contraband. However, legal mail meaning mail coming from legal counsel will be untouched as it will be opened in front of the inmate.

Money can be sent to the Bee County Sheriff’s Jail for inmates to use for the commissary. Visitation

Inmates can receive visitors while at the Bee County Sheriff’s Jail. Visitors for inmates are a privilege. This privilege can and will be taken away without notice.

Visitors must make an appointment before visiting. You can schedule a visit by calling 361-362-3221. The line is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM or until either appointment are filled.

How Often Can I Visit?

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
