Visitation

Before heading on over to Smith County Jail, you will want to confirm with them that you are on the inmates approved visitation list. The best and fastest way to do this is by contacting the jail at 903-590-2800.

If you, the visitor has a felony charge, you will not be able to visit. You must also have an updated government identification card. You also must be at least 18 years old. If you are younger, you will have to with your legal guardian.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
