The Clark County Jail is in Vancouver, Washington. The Clark County has two housing facilities; one being the Main Jail also known as the Clark County Jail and the other one being the Jail Work Center.
The Main Jail (Clark County Jail) is situated in downtown Vancouver. It is right next door to the Courthouse, but across the road from the Public Service Center Building. The Jail Work Center is on Lower River Road.
The Clark County Jail housed inmates from all security levels. They have medium-security inmates along with maximum-security inmates. They house inmates who have already been sentenced and inmates who are awaiting their sentencing.

Inmates in the Clark County Jail can receive written letters from their family and friends. These letters will be checked by jail staff upon arrival for safety issues. After the staff examines all the mail, they will pass them out to the correct inmates.

Inmates in the Clark County Jail will need money for a variety of things. They will need money to purchase items from the commissary. Inmates will also need funds to call home to their family and friends.
The Clark County Jail utilizes Telmate for their money needs. You can log on to the Telmate site and deposit funds that way.
You can use the kiosk that is in the lobby area. This kiosk accepts cash, credit, and debit. However, this kiosk will not accept coins.
If you are not close to the jail, or you rather not go down there, you can deposit money over the phone by calling 1-866-516-0115. You can deposit funds using either your credit or debit card.
Inmates in the Clark County Jail can receive visitors. Keep in mind that all visitors under the age of 18 will are permitted to visit, but they will need to be accompanied by their legal guardian. All visitors will be required to present either their driver’s license, state identification card, or their United States Passport, before being permitted to visit.
Remember, all your personal belongings will be required to stay in your car. No personal belongings will be permitted to be in the visitation area.
Personal on-site visits are held on the weekends. During the weekdays, you will be permitted to have a remote video visit.
The visitation at the Clark County Jail is all video only visits or also known as no-contact visits. The Clark County Jail contracts with Getting Out for their video visitation services.

The visiting starts in first in, first out type of fashion. No new visitors will be allowed in 45 minutes before the end of the visit day. 45 minutes before the end of the visit day officers start escorting those who were first in out of the visitor room.
