Their physical address is:
225 Sunshine Lane, Reno, NV, 89502
Northern Nevada Transitional Housing is run and operated by GEO Group, but it is currently under the Nevada Department of Corrections.
The Northern Nevada Transitional Housing does not have a security level. It thrives on voluntary commitment. The facility is known as a residential reentry center, which is like a halfway house.
It is home to inmates who are almost done with their stint in jail. Usually, they have another 3 to about 12 months left of their sentence to complete, and they can come here if they are a low-security risk.
The easiest way to see if someone is currently at the Northern Nevada Transitional Housing is to give them a call at 775-688-1140. This will be the quickest way since they currently do not have a database of inmates open to the public.
You will want to get in contact with the inmate’s case manager before you send a package or letter to ensure they can, in fact, accept incoming mail. You can reach them at 775-688-1140.
If your inmate is currently working, they will not need you to send money. But the best thing you can do is call 775-688-1140 for the latest information on where to send money to.
The Northern Nevada Transitional Housing is open from 9am to 5pm daily. You will have to get in contact with your inmate or their case manager to see when a good time is to visit them. They will be attending work, meetings, and other services throughout their day.
