Sending a Mail/Care Package

The Pendleton Police Jail has a contract with Smart Jail Mail. Smart Jail Mail uses kiosks that are in the housing units for inmates to use. This method is essentially emailing their loved ones. This system was put into place to allow the Pendleton Police Jail to ensure the safety of inmates, staff, and their families.

Inmates are no longer allowed to use pen and paper to write out their letters. All letters will now have to go through Smart Jail Mail.

However, if you do not have access to a computer and the only way you can communicate with an inmate is through the postal mail, you can send them mail at the following address:

INMATE NAME-ID NUMBER
622 Airport Rd., Pendleton, OR, 97801

Keep in mind, that this letter will go through the kiosk for them to view. They will not actually get your letter with your handwriting. Make sure you put your return address on the envelope along with the inmate’s name and their ID number to ensure it will get sent to the correct inmate.
