Pecos City Jail Inmate Search, Mugshots and Prison Information

The Pecos City Jail is also commonly known as the Pecos Detention Center. Pecos City Jail is one of the two facilities that makes up the Reeves County. The other facility is the Reeves County Jail.

The Pecos City Jail is also known as the Downtown Detention Center. It holds those inmates who are waiting to get transferred to their “home” prison or inmates waiting to make bond.

How to Find Someone in Pecos City Jail

Finding someone in the Pecos City Jail is easier than ever now. You can quickly do an inmate search from the comfort of your own. You can see who’s in the city and county jail without making phone call after phone call.

The database is available on the state of Pecos official website. You can search the database by the inmates first and last name, what facility they are in, gender, booking number, CD number.

When you do your search, you will come with their first and last name, other personal identifying information, what they are being charged with, and case details.

Sending a Mail/Care Package

Inmates can receive letters from their family and friends. Inmates can also receive books too. The books must be softcover books. The books must be sent either from the store or a publisher.

Sending Money

There are three ways to fund an inmate’s account.

You can fund an account by using the kiosk in the Downtown Detention Facility. The kiosks take cash or credit card payments. You will need to know the inmate’s CD number in order to put money in their account.

Another way you can fund an inmate’s account is to use postal money orders and drop them off at the information desk in the Pecos City Jail. Again, you will need to inmate’s CD number.

The last way you can fund an inmate’s account is by using Access Corrections. Again, you will need the inmate’s CD number to finish the transaction. However, this method incurs a fee.

Visitation

In order to visit an inmate, you will need to use the Pecos City Jail online jail reservation tool. If you do not have access to a computer, you can also call the Pecos City Jail at 432-445-4911.

Keep in mind that all visits are video only visits at the Pecos City Jail.

If you have not received an email confirmation or a phone call confirmation means your visit has not been approved. Your visit may not have been approved because you are missing information, invalid dates, invalid times, session time is full, inmates have no more visits left, or inmate is busy that day.

How Often Can I Visit?

Inmates at the Pecos City Jail are permitted 2 visits per week. You will need to work with other friends and family member to make sure everyone will be able to visit.
