The Kentucky Department of Corrections is the agency responsible for keeping and maintaining an updated database for all offenders currently serving time in Kentucky state prisons.
The Kentucky Department of Corrections takes advantage of VINE. VINE is short for Victim Information and Notification Everyday. This is where you can get search for inmates and have them notify you of changes; whether they get released or transferred. No one will know you searched for them or turned on alerts.
Unlike the state of Kentucky, Kentucky’s city and county jails keep their records separate. If you need information on an inmate serving time in a city or county jail, you will need to contact the appropriate authorities.
